Cllr Peter Pilkington (Portfolio Holder for Climate Change) has decided to award grants to the following organisations, for the installation of electric vehicle community charge points:
Minehead Town Council - £1500
The applications will be funded from a dedicated one-off sum of £20,000 created in 2019/20 that rolled over into 2020/2021 budget, set aside by the Council to support the installation of electric vehicle community charge points.
The applications support community led action to tackle the climate emergency and are in line with the Council’s declared ambition to work towards a carbon neutral district by 2030.
